I knew I wanted to book this wedding from the moment Danica first emailed me. She lived (lives) in Denver and at the time was thinking about getting married on a ski hill in Collingwood… there were a few other details that immediately intrigued me but those two main points were like playing a familiar tune. I lived in Denver in my twenties and I got married on a ski hill, it couldn’t just be a coincidence. I’m so glad it worked out in my favour and I was able to be there to document this amazing day for Danica and James. The two, so clearly in love, were amazing to photograph. They had a little secret up their sleeves as well and the reveal was too funny. Danica and James eloped in Vegas a few months before their “big” wedding day, they shared the Elvis inspired video during the reception and everyone had a great laugh. Danica and James wanted to come back to Toronto to have the main celebration with all of their loved ones close by. Their wedding day was truly spectacular.
If you think that’s not enough to tell you how cool these two are, wait until you see our “Day After” session, to be blogged soon.
