New Years Eve weddings are always a good time. Of course no one expected the cold snap we’ve had so we had to come up with some inventive ways to do the creative portraits. With a venue like District 28 and being able to pop over to East Room, we had lots of awesome options.
Alex and Greg are such a fun couple, everything they planned for their day was unique and beautiful.
Here is what the new husband and wife had to say about their day;

We wanted everything to focus on good food and fun; a night that was one part wedding, one part New Year’s party. We couldn’t imagine a better way to ring in 2018 surrounded by everyone we love

The details of the wedding were exceptional, no surprise with Alex being an event planner, she had a vision and knew exactly what she wanted. From what I gathered, Greg had a bit of input as well, though maybe more on the James Bond like video he created as an entrance to their ceremony, a video months in the making and something I have never seen in all my years capturing weddings. True entertainment!
The food was exceptional, Food Dudes always impresses with their delicious dishes, I’m dreaming of that risotto cake!
Congrats to Alex and Greg! It was such an honour to be a part of your day, from helping with Greg’s bow tie to shaking the champagne on the dance floor, every minute was awesome!
