Kathryn + Jay: Toronto Engagement

November 2, 2017

I asked Kathryn for the one thing she was most looking forward to on her wedding day.

I have to say one thing I am most looking forward to is seeing my little girl as a flower girl and walking down the aisle with my dad as he had been very sick several years ago and I didn’t know I would ever get to share this experience with him. Very grateful!

I loved working with Kathryn and Jay, their energy is incredible. Feeling that connection with your wedding photographer is super important. You are going to spend one of the most memorable days of your life with your photographer, ya better like ’em. At their engagement session, Jay told me that going forward whenever they need a photographer, I’m their girl, that kind of compliment is the highest form but it truly comes down to having a connection with my couples.

When you’re in the process of booking your wedding vendors, start with their portfolio be it on Instagram, Facebook, Website and probably all of the above, if you like what you see the next step is booking a consultation. During your consultation have a list of questions you feel are pertinent but more importantly, take that opportunity to get to know who you might be working with and see if they seem like your kind of people. Being surrounded by good people on your wedding day will be key to enjoying every single moment!
