What a wonderful white Christmas we had! Em learned how to say Santa, although I’m not sure she understood what she was saying but she loved to kiss our Santa ornament on our Christmas tree. On Christmas morning my husband went to get Em out of her crib at 7am and asked her if she knew what day it was, she replied with “Santa”… pretty sure it was just a coincidence but nonetheless it was adorable. Em is 18 months today and we have seen so many changes over the last 6 months it’s just incredible. She talks all day long, you can’t quite understand her yet but I know that day is coming soon. The faces my little actress makes are to die for, she is so expressive and really thrives on interacting with others of all ages from children to grandparents. I took tons of photos this Christmas and 99.9% of them are Em, it’s easy to see where my focus was on Christmas.

I believe the Holiday season is about enjoying time with family and friends (and we definitely did)! I thought I would take a minute to share some of the excitement Em had with her toys because although it’s not about the prezzies under the tree it sure is a blast to see her eyes light up to a new experience.

One of the best presents she got this year was from my mom, Tegu blocks. If you haven’t heard of these amazing magnetic blocks yet then you better head over to their website and take a look, they are one of the most innovative toys on the market. True, they are a little pricey but I promise you will have fun for hours and hours with your kids. Em quickly discovered that they stick to her baby gate so I got creative with her name as you will see below, goes to show I can start teaching her the alphabet with these fantastic blocks. Enjoy some of our Tegu fun!

Opening up her Tegu blocks on Christmas morning.

This is one of Em’s recent “I’m so funny” faces.

Our first Tegu build together… although I did a pretty good job making it look like Em did it all herself, I’ll admit I helped a little.

Thanks Tegu for making such an unbelievable toy for kids! I really appreciate your exceptional customer service and look forward to adding to our collection in the future.
